Laboratory Assistant-(FT)
The Lab Assistant performs the collection, processing and preparation of blood, body fluids and other laboratory samples for testing and analysis.
They interact with patients, nurses, doctors and other medical personnel.
As a member of the laboratory team, they are the first source for excellent customer service in the laboratory, both in person and over the phone.
They utilize computers and general office organizational skills in performing their duties, including the entering of lab test orders.

Ability to meet hospital requirements for the operation of fleet vehicles

Ability to work varied shifts
Minimum Work Experience:
1.
Minimum of one year experience preferred.
Minimum Education:
1.
High school diploma or equivalent.
2.
Phlebotomy training required – certification preferred.
3.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
