We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude for a busy law firm dealing with collections.
Candidates should be able to assist legal team by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.
To be successful as an Office Clerk, candidates should be professional, polite, organized and attentive while also being *accurate*.
Must be comfortable with computers, excellent typing and 10-key ability, transferring calls on a multi-line system, and other general office tasks.
*This is a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment.
The perfect candidate will perform well under pressure and meet performance requirements.
* *Office Clerk Responsibilities:* * Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards debtors at all times.
* Ability to work well and maintain calm under pressure while preventing conflicts.
* Using computers to generate legal documents, updating accounts, and taking payments.
* Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Maintain polite and professional communication via phone and e-mail.
* Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary, working efficiently individually or with a team.
*Office Clerk Requirements:* * Office experience preferred; legal experience not required.
* Impeccably follow directions.
* Organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Reliable, friendly and intelligent.
* Accountability for work performance and performance reviews.
* Excellent computer skills, especially typing and 10-key.
* Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
* A voluntary credit check may also be requested.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $45,000.
